To build towers, If you selected 'Normal Mode' then once you've completed the first wave, you will see a new 'Update Towers' button. In that menu you will be able to select each tower or building, if you have enough money then you can select a building to replace with a new tower.
in 'Arcade Mode' you can buy new towers from the start
